Designs That Get Built

Every system I design is meant to be fabricated, assembled, and installed—without surprises. That means complete, detailed engineering that’s built around real-world constraints, with every drawing reviewed, every part accounted for, and every customer kept in the loop.

Whether it’s our in-house team or an outside fabricator, the goal is always the same: make it easy to build, and hard to mess up.

Nothing Left to Guess

I don’t do “close enough.” I believe in drawings that leave no stone unturned. Models are accurate. Fasteners are specified. Clearances are verified. If a welder, machinist, or installer needs to know it—I’ve already thought about it.

Approval Drawings That Prevent Surprises

Before anything gets built, I issue complete approval drawing packages showing overall layouts, part flow, guarding, interface points, access panels, and service clearances. The customer is involved from concept to sign-off, so the system we build is exactly the one they expected.

Designed for the Shop Floor

  • Complete – 3D models, fabrication prints, BOMs, exploded views, and cut lists

  • Clear – Fully dimensioned, clearly labeled, no “field verify” guesswork

  • Consistent – Standardized title blocks, revision tracking, and part numbers

  • Collaborative – The design process is transparent from start to finish

CAD + Database Integration

This isn’t just about drawing—it’s about building smarter. I’ve developed custom VBA tools that link our CAD models directly to our internal Access-based system.

  • Drawing data pushes into the database for accurate BOMs, part tracking, and job planning

  • Drawing metadata syncs back to the CAD files, populating title blocks, part details, and revision history

  • It’s one closed-loop system designed to eliminate guesswork and duplication
